Labor Day Parade

Date:
Saturday, September 1, 2007 - 11:00am
Location:
The parade will step-off from Pennsylvania and North Streets.

The Human Rights Campaign and Indiana Equality will have a joint walking unit in the Labor Day Parade!

Labor was with us and for us last April when the Marriage Discrimination Amendment was killed for the 2007 legislative session.

HRC & IE are honored to have been invited by organized labor, our progressive coalition partner, to participate in their annual celebration of labor's contributions to the quality of life for all of us in central Indiana.

We need marchers to help carry our banners and 20' x 40' flag.  Come downtown, be in the parade, and let's celebrate our achievements together!

The parade route will go from North St., south on Pennsylvania, around Monument Circle, and north on Meridian St. back to North St.
